It seems like Luka likes the Mavs a lot more than most Mavs fans like the Mavs.

Has this been talked about yet?  Would this be due to a new TV deal?

Bobby Marks: Besides a $207M contract and a player option in year 5, Luka Doncic also has a 15% trade kicker in his contract. The trade bonus (in the unlikely event he is moved in the future) would only come in play if the cap takes a significant increase in the future.

Luka can't get more than 35 % of cap. So if cap stays the same and he is traded, his contract will not be increased by his trade bonus of 15 %. However, if the cap increases over years, relative size of his salary will drop below 35 % of the cap and trade bonus will come into effect, if he is traded.
