Thanks Clutch, Thanks Kamm, Thanks All FA Contributors B4 the Fireworks. I know it's not easy to keep up with all the movement as the process moves forward, but your efforts are greatly appreciated.

Hollinger knows something on Lowry. Also, the chess pieces are in place.

Sounds like they are going to let Theis walk after they gave away Gafford on a rookie deal for him. I think the new Bulls FO needs to be kept on speed dial. Tongue

I think my most three interesting teams heading into FA besides our little Mavs are the Knicks, Heat and Raptors.

The Knicks deliberately created a few extra million in cap room on draft day and have around 50 million of space.  I don't know what they expect to do with that space.   I thought they had enough cap room but they created more.  Do they go after a restricted free agent and then another free agent?   I just can't figure out the targets.   Maybe a trade?

The Heat are always a team to watch.  They would seem like the front runner for Lowry, but they have been quiet.  Are they planning something bigger or going in a different direction?

I feel the Raptors will also look to go big but they also have trouble attracting free agents.   There have been reports of Holmes, Jarrett Allen, Lonzo popping up.  Also some Lowry sign and trades with Miami and Philly.

He did call the Carlisle move ahead of time.

Why do you think so? Just curious, not challenging what he reported.

I'm still curious why that Vucevic trade didn't get more hate
Can't believe they gave up Carter and 2 firsts. Carter has a ton of upside

He's been in the league three years now.  I liked him coming out also but he was in the same draft class as DSJ and Bamba.  Dunno if a ton of upside is still there.

THAT is noted moron Gilbert Arenas.

You can easily find his racist diatribe on what has led to white, European players dominating the league, if you look.

Worse. Arenas actually believes the things he says.

Nah.

Are the Mavs short on talent compared to other NBA playoff teams? Obviously.

Are they a "YMCA team?" Obviously not.

With Nico and Kidd here, I have been wondering if the Mavs will shift their focus away a little bit from Euro players.
