2021 FREE AGENCY: Markkanen wants out of CHI | DAL "definitely interested"

Agree that Howard is a steal at a vet min price.

Disagree that guys like Ellington/Ariza are steals. They're okay 7-10th guys that are on a downward trend. I just think this is a case of LA being an attractive place to live.

That makes Brown and Bullock? 7th-10th guys on bigger contracts. Good value on vet min deals. Not good if they eat into your capspace or get the MLE.

I suppose. I think Brown and Bullock still have more to give, which justifies the slight bump in pay.

Mavs desperately need better role players. I think Brown and Bullock help that issue so I'm fine with splitting the MLE for them.

Ok can people stop complaining about THJ's deal now?

Huge overpay by the Knicks.

Team option for Fournier. Makes his deal a little less bad. Still a slight overpay imo.

That´s where I disagree. We already saw what happens when you split the MLE instead of going after the best availabe player. We already had that last year.

So Knicks basically used 50 mil of cap space on Noel, Burks and Fournier?

I'd take D12 if we didn't have 47 centers already.  And I'd take Bullock of Brown, Ariza or Ellington Jr.

Yep.  That Brown signing feels like a Burke signing.  I don't see that big of difference between him and Iwundu.

Who's the best player available for the full MLE that's there right now? And is that player better than both Brown+Bullock combined?

I don't see a clear cut answer there.

Speaking of us having 47 centers, Brunson for Robinson should still be in play.

Brown shooting 42 % from three? On four attempts per game

Sterling Browns career 3pt%: 37.4% on 2.7 attempts per game.
Wes Iwundu career 3pt%:  28.6% on  1.1 attempts per game

Kind of a massive difference to me there.
