2021 FREE AGENCY: Markkanen wants out of CHI | DAL "definitely interested"

Don't really care about his regrets, but I'd love him at 5.9m for a year.

Dude is going to be gunning to get "his" all year. If a situation arises where he needs to take a backseat it ain't happening. Wouldn't even want him for the min.

Montrezl and Dennis both bet on the Lakers brand raising their value. In Dennis’s case he even turned down a good offer from the Lakers. Both lost. Hopefully this makes future lesser stars to sign with other teams for what is there on the table than banking on the Hollywood dream.

It's a one year contract.  You send him home if he acts up.  The flipside could also happen where he is on his best behavior.

He should be on his best behavior. He might even ball out. Wonder would have Dallas kicked the tires at that price?

I wonder if you will be saying the same when we start Burke at point.

Germans have an unhealthy dislike for Schroeder, cause they blame him for Germany and Dirk not playing well at age 37 in FIBA basketball. They think Schroeder was selfish and immature (at age 21), that he should have deferred more to Dirk on his last legs after an 82 game NBA season, although Dirk shot 36% from the field during the tournament. Feed Dirk for 40 minutes and let him go to work in the smaller Eurolane against double teams and more physical defenses.

I'm pretty sure from the similar Nerlens miscalculation that it tastes like media room hot dogs.

I will. I literally have no desire for Schroeder. Never have, never will. I've always seen the dude as a locker room cancer and a loser. There's a reason he's been an afterthought this summer, and it's because his hubris is the size of the sun. ]

I will take Burke at 100 billion over Schroeder for free.

The Bulls might have all the leverage now, but come January the situation will be reversed. Markkanen can file trade offers and he can pre-arrange summer deals, he might not want to risk. Suddenly the Bulls lose a 25MPG player for nothing due to "injury".

For the TPE, yea might want to get that done Nico. Start recruiting. Watching highlights he has more athleticism to his game than I realized.

He has a 40" vertical. He is an excellent athlete. Way better than Dirk ever was in the explosion area.

I have to kinda agree.

It´s just a healthy dislike Smile
and it´s not really about deferring to Dirk but about him being irrational full of himself in a bad way.

He is the best german player at this point and was then, but unfortunally this doesn´t say much at this point.

I'm not sure he is as fast up and down as young Dirk but for sure a more vertical game. One of my takeaways is that he is more similar to young Dirk than KP as far as overall movement and fluidity.

I think he could have success in the mid post with the ability to put the ball on the floor. Maybe with a little Dirk training?

Yeah, he has more hops, but, agree with OKstate, he's not as fast up and down.
