Just don't look at the opponents.  Nets were without KD and Kyrie.  Best win was GSW.  We lost to the other two quality opponents in that stretch (Blazers was a close game, 76ers was not).

So the second half (ish) of the season starts tomorrow night. SA is always a challenge, thanks to Pop, even if they start 5 from St. Aloysius Jr. High. OKC could be a bit of a trap game since next stop is at DEN. I hope for 3-0, but will take 2-1.

Seems like a lot of us mavsboard.com denizens are holding our breath for whatever trades the MBT makes...or doesn't make. IMO, how the team performs over these first few games will determine the urgency of making any moves.

All that aside, is there any news from the practice facility? Combined with the snowmageddon a few weeks ago, this seems like a good time to try and tweak in some changes to make the team more functional. But last time we ended up with KP missing games because of his back and the team stunk it up.

Record over the last 12 games looks great. They moved into 8th place while at home watch GS and others lose. Now the Mavs need to keep momentum moving forward and keep piling up wins. Even missing a few snow days and a COVID game or two the team still played as many games as anyone in the WC, but they need to move above a play-in scenario.

Cuban unsurprisingly preaching "continuity" in this interview. 

Unless somebody wants to "get off money" and give the Mavs a "needle moving" star then Cuban doesn't see the Mavs doing anything.

On a scale of 1-10, how disappointed would everyone be if there were no roster changes at the trade deadline? I can see a scenario in which the Mavs are still determined to get to the summer with cap space. It's probably not what I'd do, but I can see them staying the course.

As an emotional fan I would be an 8. This team isn't exciting to me right now and whatever dysfunction is going on is stealing my joy. Putting up with another half season of that would be hard.

As a rational fan I would be a 2. Having capspace to chase John Collins would give me hope and I also believe KP's trade value will likely be greater this summer. So rationally I feel like waiting is likely the best thing long term.
