DAL OFFSEASON: Trade & FA | Mavs "mostly done...but you never know."

And the Magic. They can't seem to find a PG answer. Gordon and Fournier work with the $. I think that actually makes Houston better.
Magic might not have interest tho.

I guess theoretically the Lakers could throw all their contracts that aren't AD and Lebron together to maybe have enough. Not sure why Houston wastes their time with a move like that tho.

-Wall for Westbrook works.  :p
-Love/Exum does too.
-Thadd/OPJ
-I'd add Charlotte to the mix (team Jordan).

18/THJ for Dipo, Wright/Jackson for PatBev.

Luka, PatBev, Dipo, DFS, KP.

They're shopping Delon hard.

I don't think we are either barring a deal where he has to be included for cap matching.
I do think Powell could get moved during the year if he shows he is healthy. Of course nobody is going to want to trade for someone off a major injury. Much less it being a role player. I don't think he is a positive asset by any means. I just I think we could move him if he show he's useful. In the right deal of course.

Oh I know other teams could make it work.
I just don't see any of those teams wanting an aging selfish player on a massive deal. Or at least on a deal that Houston would actually do.

Knicks, Magic, and the Hornets wouldn't surprise me.

I'd make it 31/THJ for Dipo. Put the pressure on Indy. They're going to lose him for nothing and are apparently getting poor offers as it is.

I think Houston might be stuck with Westbrick. Even if another team were foolish enough to pursue a trade, I don't see them pulling the trigger without similar horrific contracts going back to Houston. It would have to be for someone like Blake Griffin or multiple bad contracts that come out to around $40M annually.

Rubio better not be in the MBT sights.

@"loki", I’m fully aware that Blake Griffin isn’t really a desirable player at this point, but I have a feeling Houston would be THRILLED to turn Westbrook into him. They’d be losing the talent swap, but at least the gained piece fits with their franchise player.

How many players does Houston have to churn through before they come to terms with the reality that the problem has always been Harden?

Hoping Oubre is the target. He fits the type of wing they want, I don't know why media people have been pouring cold water on that idea.

I’m trying to get everyone warmed up to the idea.

I, for one, won’t be shocked. Years of Donnie/Cuban have me feeling prepared.

Rubio to Clips, Oubre to Mavs is going to be the angle.

In the end, instead of Oubre (rental), Rubio and 10 for CP3, they get 18, DFS, Wright, Shamet and whatever they get when they flip Beverley.  It is truly brilliant for OKC.

I personally think you are the one reading this exactly right. This has to be the deal otherwise it doesn't make sense.

I think y'all are making this too complicated. Mavs DO want Oubre and are probably trying to use 31 to get Oubre while dumping Wright in the process.

suuuure hope so.

im going to go ahead and finish setting up the MFFL suicide prevention hotline so it’s ready when they give up #18 for Rubio.

@"DanSchwartzman" is working off the reported components. He is making those components work.

Obviously things would be super fluid and could change, but 31 has never been reported while a swap of 10 and 18 has been reported.

Rubio to the Mavs isn't going to happen, it's the Clippers who would have interest in replacing PatBev with Rubio.
