But we said the same last year when they got rid of all their decent bigs

I hope nothing bad happens, but that's a lot riding on Tatum's repaired Achilles.

Well, slight hesitation because who knows what the Brown/Kyrie dynamic is these days.

Yeah, I guess I didn't consider the kyrie angle, but still, Kyrie/Brown/Flagg...that wins some games.

My preference is, that the Mavs make no move as opposed to the wrong move.

Boston fans went from daydreaming about Giannis to waking up to Paul George.

Interesting trade. And looks like no real salary going from Mavs side. At least not yet

The Mavs are going to own all the forwards. Aldama is a quality player but dear god, we have to move PJ.

The Memphis Grizzlies are trading Santi Aldama to the Dallas Mavericks for AJ Johnson, a protected 2030 Warriors first-round pick and two future second-round picks, sources tell ESPN.

You were a good Mav, landlord and almost had the most consecutive makes without a miss in our uniform.  /cow speculation

I have liked santi but with limited times seeing him and mostly on struggling Memphis teams. Pretty versatile. Can’t tell u about his defense. Someone else will be moved for backcourt. Not enough minutes there. My guess is Marshall

The Mavericks also acquire the draft rights to Tarik Biberovic, sources said. The Warriors pick in 2030 is protected 1 to 20, then turns into a second if not conveyed.

PJ has to be gone right. If we move him, then my sassy sarcasm will change dramatically.

Just so you know, I don't dislike PJ at all actually. Just doesn't fit this team really and the contract is too big for the production.

See, I mentioned earlier Collins making 17. That's exactly what Aldami makes and it's a team option after next season. Bingo.

Really depends on how Ujiri views the current roster and how he plans to build around Flagg. If it's still vision 6'9 PJ could be a part of the center rotation and one of the traditional bigs has to go. If they view Flagg as a guard/primary ballhandler there is still room for a forward. If they go with a more traditional build one of the forwards has to make room for a guard.
