Will you be disappointed if they add guys like Quentin Grimes, Sandro Mamuwhateverhisnameis, and Mitchell Robinson?  And bring back Kennard? and/or Rui?

I guess I'm wondering if the Lakers fans wants a bonafide 3rd piece this offseason.  Like Walker Kessler?  Trey Murphy?

Yes I would be dissapointed if the first part would be all they bring. Sandro and Mitchell Robinson are not significant center upgrades Lakers need, although a combo of Ayton and Robinson could be interesting (Ayton was actually very good in some match-ups). 

I expect at least one above average starter either in FA or through trade, hopefully at least keep Rui and possibly Smart. Rest is a bonus. Kessler + Dort while keeping Rui would be an awesome offseason.

Maybe, but still squarely in the "premium backup big" category for which the tweet claimed these deals were defining the going rate.

Gafford could start for a lot of teams.  You could argue the same about Williams if it weren't for his health.  Landale shouldn't start for any team.  Gafford is easily worth 4M more than those players when you consider those factors.

I agree...if he's in the right situation. I sincerely hope there's a team out there who thinks they have that right situation and want to fit him into it. That was my whole point, that he's paid like a slightly above average starting center, not a "premium backup" center. 

I don't think the right situation for him is here in Dallas anymore - that's all.
