42 year old Lebron would be kinda hilarious on this Mavs team

Who is Chams and where did he say/report this?

Amid LeBron James' impending exit from Los Angeles, sources say the Cavaliers have held ongoing trade conversations regarding veterans Max Strus and Dennis Schröder, which could help Cleveland free the space to add James, and also benefit the Cavs' effort to retain Dean Wade.

There's probably nothing (at all) to see here, but for the record, I think I'd be more inclined to see what could be gained by shipping Kyrie to whatever old folks home Klutch is trying to set up. Maybe there are some younger building blocks with exciting potential to be stolen from whichever owner/GM team has been glamoured by the prospect of putting 2019's All Star team together?

I mean as a culture setter and mentoring Cooper a year or two, why not?

If it means Cooper will also perform for 20+ seasons like Dirk and LeBron I’m all for it.

The conversation was about big potential SnT. Assumptions:
1. LeBron wants more than MLE (SnT is the only option in this case for all three most mentioned teams Mia, GSW and Cle)
2. Lakers will not take back trash salaries (it doesn't mean SnT can't happen in this case, but it would need to involve more teams)
3. Not sure about Cavs. LeBron at SF is not really great and Mobley and Allen are an overlap as it is. I would assume Mobley moves to C, LeBron is a PF and I think they can keep Strus at SF in this scenario

BREAKING: The Los Angeles Clippers are nearing deal sending Kawhi Leonard to the Toronto Raptors for Brandon Ingram, Gradey Dick, 2 first-round picks, 1 pick swap and 2 second-rounders, sources tell ESPN. A return to Canada for the Raptors champion and two-time Finals MVP.

I think Pelinka is a bottom five GM in the league. If I were a Lakers fan I'd be bracing myself for an underwhelming summer.

Of course all of this is possible, but I will withold my judgement until I see the results. I think Pelinka did well after trading for Luka. I am just certain that this is a crucial summer and I think his job will be on the line with the new owner if he doesn't deliver.

Disinterested as I am in adding LeBron James to the Mavs at this time (and boy, am I disinterested), if I play devil's advocate with myself...

He'd put a sizable dent in the creation issue the team has, if not completely solving that problem. It would be a short term solution only (understatement) and would almost surely come at the cost of Flagg's portion of that role, but it would help in that area, for sure.

Depending on how good May will be right out of the gate, I'd say the only thing missing from there to be a legit playoff team right away would be 2-3 legitimate shooters...but those shooters would need to be iN THE ROTATION, so in other words replacing current rotation players.

It's not the way I'd go, and ultimately I don't think it's the way Ujiri will go. And, I doubt LeBron would even want to come to Dallas...but it's not impossible.

ESPN was just acting like he's willing to take 6 million per year to play with Miami, Cleveland or GS. They said money won't be a factor. This was on NBA Jump.

Good. There's no way in hell Dallas could justify paying a price like that at this point. I'm glad this one is over.

Maybe they're right.

I'll believe it when I see it.

All of that for a 35-year old expiring contract. Not sure he is their missing piece to a title again. I think this is another great move for Clippers.

LMAO 2 firsts a pick swap and two seconds alone isn't worth it. Have fun getting 40 games out of Leonard this year.

So our big name is Sasser?

I've never heard that name honestly, not even in dynasty.
