How the f*** are we still only at #18. Did they switch to ten minutes after the lottery picks.

So the Hornets actually did the German combo. Damn basically no guards left I like.

At this point I think Simons, Sexton and Lavine are not that unlikely anymore.

I think a more apt comparison to Morez is Andre Drummond...also picked 9 btw.

He's strong like Drummond, but I'd go more Draymond Green/Al Horford (both comps on the DEFENSIVE end, to be clear). Offensively, he's a little Drummondish, I suppose.

Still some good names on the board but it gets a lot thinner.
Quaintance probably doesnt make sense anymore with Morez here and Lively already being the injury wildcard option at C. PG: Irving SG: Christie | Klay SF: Flagg | Marshall PF: Washington C: Morez | Lively is how I would pencil in the starters/top 8 right now. De Larrea makes a lot of sense at #30. We are closing in on the territory where it might just make more sense to stay put at #30 Imo.

Yeah unless there is somebody they really like it does not make that much sense to move up anymore. Stritz/Okorie/Anderson interested me. Now not so much. But maybe our FO loves a guy like Karim Lopez.
I could see them do a trade with Hawks or Lakers for Lopez/Carr/Philon. Nobody else strikes me as interesting enough. And I actually want French Josh Green in an Atlanta deal.
But it would not shock me, if Masai would be more interested in Kuminga there to play SG and go crazy tall. Gafford + Klay + #30 for Kuminga + #23.

Ben Rogers
@BenRogers Looks like trading back and still getting Johnson was not an option after all. And after hearing May talk about him, wowwwww. They got the guy they wanted. And their head coach knew more about him than anybody else. And he got first dibs on all three of his stars and wanted Johnson. This pick is fascinating.

Big fan of Peat and quaintance is intriguing. Don’t think either makes sense now unless a pure value play.
Carr was another guy i did not study much and one I have doubts on. He fits the Masai blueprint though. Will need to trade up. Not a creator but a scorer. |
