83 points. Never change Wizards. So happy AD will be stuck there for two more years.

What´s even funnier is that Sarr had 28 pts in 20 minutes, but the Wizards must have figured their fans have so much fun this season already, it would be really depressing for them to watch their 20 year old star score 50 pts in the same game, so they limited his minutes.

Really inefficient 83. I'm sure many players could do the same on 20-43 and 7-22 from 3. 43 free throws is an absolute embarrassment by the league.

I didn't see the game, but my guess is that it got less efficient as the night wore on and the goal started to become "how many points can we gat Bam tonight?" Still, there have been some nights this season when I wasn't sure the Mavs would score 83 as a team, so it's not nothing.

You can filter by quarter here but your assumptions are dead on. https://www.nba.com/game/was-vs-mia-0022...?period=Q4&type=scoring

Highest scoring games in NBA history while shooting less than 50% from the field.

Especially when it get much more serious than basketball. Basketballl wise, the Lakers have had a lot of talk. Much of it negative. I think it is warranted to some degree. With that being said they are #3 in the west. Denver, Houston, and Minny are all sort of having ups and downs. The playoffs should be real fun this year. Hopefullly all teams are mostly healthy.

I get what you're saying, but it’s not speculation. It's real life. They're blessed to be in a position to soften the blows of reality, that most can't. But feelings don't change.

Yep, it looks like the Jazz were outscored by a ton in the second half last night in their loss to the Knicks. I mean they already have most of their good players out, but it ooks like Keyonte George played just 20 minutes (14 points). edit-Just looked...the said he injured his hamstring and was ruled out of the game. Time will tell, if Ainge is not allowing George to hydrate during the day of the game. I really think Utah and Memphis are going to be hard to out tank. Dallas is awful and has a tough schedule. I just think it is going to be tough to get ahead of both....maybe either.

OTOH, Utah still has games left against 2 Super Tanks, SAC and WAS. And they picked up an "accidental" win vs GS in which they tried hard to lose, benching George for the entire 4th in a close game, yet still winning. I wouldn't be surprised if the Mavs get a bit of help on that end. My main hope is that the Mavs lose tonight, to create a 3-game cushion vs MEM in the race for 6. I would not be highly disappointed if they win a game or 2 sometime after that, instead of ending the season on a 25-game losing streak, which probably means they finish in 6, although 5 would be better (but getting to 5th while winning a game or 2 would be a tall order). |
