2019-20 Around the NBA: Archived
Korkmaz had more points in the last two games than Broekhoff had all season. He´s shooting 40% from three. Athletic 22 year old 6´7 SG on a minimum contract, which he signed on July 24th, with a 2nd year team option for Christ´s sake. He was there all the way, when he were still sitting on all that capspace, not knowing how to spread our money around. His name came up frequently during that time. That lack of vision is disappointing about the Mavs. They can evaluate players quickly, when they have them in-house, but out-house it´s all about the proven talent, whether it´s the draft, trades or free agency.

Apparently we’re as bad as 27 other teams at evaluating “outhouse” talent.

Raptors are hotter than fish grease. They've won their 15th straight over Minny 137-126.

Good for them, after what Kawhi did to them last summer.

Wow, when you watch it was amazing how good MJ was.  Both offense and defense.  Drove right into congested lane and got banged around yet finished.

There will never be another like or as good:

^^ I guess all the negative media lit a fire under his ass, because he played like he should, in a 110-103 win over the Clippers. He even got into a scrap, with new bad boy, Marcus Morris. If the Sixers took their home act on the road, they'd be near the top of the East. 25-2 at home, 9-19 on the road.

OKC has a pretty fat stack of picks and a contract to match...

Wiz are 19-33 in 9th and only 2 (yes 2) games out of 8th playoff seed (in loss column)!

Port is 25-30 in 9th and still 4 games out of seed

The Bradley Beal All-Star snub looking really dumb right now...'

Beal should be in over Young

Beal currently 29.1ppg/6.3ap/4.5apg on 45/32/85

Young currently 29.7/9.1/4.4 on 44/37/85.

So yeah Young barely nudges Beal in counting stats, but Beal's team is 9th and Young's is 3rd worst in the league.

The Wiz only have 4 more games on the Hawks, which goes to show just how bad the bottom of the East is and how top heavy that conference currently is.

Fun stat: Young is last in DRPM at -4.60. Beal is nearly as bad. 4th last at -3.75. Atlantas defense ranks 28th in the league. Wizards defense ranks 29th.

Find yourself a franchise player that isn´t a complete defensive liability.  Players like JJB can put up big offensive numbers as well but RC is smart enough to limit his minutes.
