I like the new Christmas concept. You get two NBA games then a G-League showcase followed by two more NBA games.

Free throw shooting contest so far. Boring first quarter.

Are the Mavs the league leaders in midrange shot attempts??

I’m all for working that back into the game. Right around the bubble year, the midrange was almost completely gone from the sport, and you knew it would come back, since teams weren’t even thinking about guarding there, but…

…there’s a REASON it had gone away. I feel like longer 2’s are the most prevalent part of the Mavs’ shot profile, and it’s just brutal to watch, knowing that gives them very little chance of winning.

Yeah...Klay leads the Mavs in 3'2 and he's off the bench.  Although he is in top 20 in the NBA in 3's made this season.  The only other 3-shooter is Christie.

It’s not even that they don’t make 3’s. I’d welcome that problem. They can’t create three point shooting opportunities. You can’t win in the NBA this way.

Terrible half. No AD? I think you have to go with PJ at the 5. Gotta try DLO and Hardy some in the second half, just to get some more 3PT attempts. Yuck!

Tough first half.  Even with the addition of the tankastic AD injury Smile

You just can't give up that many open threes and second chance opportunities with offensive rebounds against this GS team.  Just can't happen.

Williams has had some excellent moments this year and has been pretty good overall, but it just appears the team runs better when Nembhard is on the floor.

Dallas needs much more from both Gafford and PJ.   They both just have to be better.

GS will let you back in the game, but it won't happen if Dallas plays that second half like the first. Need to be much more connected.

I was going to start watching on tape delay but not even going to bother now.

AD get a real injury? or a booboo?

Seemed like a boo-boo, but we’ll see.

Decided to just walk off the court instead of just standing there, catching the ball and call a timeout to preserve possession. Dude is just pathetic.
