We're gonna need Kyrie next season. Vet presence who can actually play the point and give you 20+ every night will be great for Cooper and whatever young guys they have next season.

DLo out with illness tonight. Nembhard is still out with a knee sprain. Lively is avaible but on a 15-18 minute restriction.

Hopefully Kidd will be fine. He might have to give Hardy 30 minutes.

This next stretch of games before the NBA Cup break is looking pretty brutal. 5 of 7 on the road. Opponents with a combined 64-29 (.678) record. Only one below .500 opponent (which is a back to back).

@LAL
@LAC (BTB)

@OKC

We had probably the easier schedule with a lot of games at home... Now start the hard part.

I don’t see a win. If Dallas plays its cards right, they’ll be sitting with anbout the third worst record, which gives them a great chance to draft in the top 5. That should land an all star caliber player in this loaded draft if they are competent.

Yes Mavs are in touch with Utah, Clippers, Charlotte and Grizzlies, but these teams are much better at home. Our home record is more in line with Pacers, Wizards, Pelicans, Kings and Nets. With the sixth odds you can easily move up four spots or down two spots.

I see a lot of those teams finish ahead the Mavs because they will not tank at all, we have to be smart and fight for an high pick at any cost.

It feels like somewhere in hear it would be safe to bring AD back and not impact losing (even if you assume he plays well).

I could see him coming back with a strict minute limit. On the other hand, the last of those 7 games against Houston is on Dec 6th and they won't play again until the 18th against Detroit. If you wait that's another 12 full days for him to recover.

It looks like each team has 2 unassigned games that will be scheduled in this gap in the schedule once group stage of the cup plays out.

A look at the strength of schedules played so far into the season. Key takeaways: OKC is 17-1 but have had the easiest schedule by far. Miami and Houston are 11-6 and 10-4 through the 4th and 5th toughest schedules. Dallas is 5-13 despite having the 4th easiest schedule.

The Mavericks' Anthony Davis is scheduled to practice Wednesday in a bid to be cleared for his first game action since Oct. 29.

Dallas plays the Lakers on Friday night in Los Angeles followed by the Clippers on Saturday.

"He's working to get back," Mavs coach Jason Kidd said.

That's pretty telling. They should definitely have more wins.

Luka is gonna cook AD if he comes back for that game. I don’t see him playing.

I don't see him too much worried about Mavs experience or basketball in general.
Worst superstar ever in Mavs uniform. Lazy and soft.
