First on my list is Keonte George of Utah i think he would be a great to put with flagg.
if not him how about drafting the kid out of purdue braden smith.
Mavericks will be needing a straight up swap at center for A.D. and i like a numbers of young big guys who would be fun to watch in Dallas.
i like these two guys for the mavs how about going after mark williams on the suns or Donovan
Clingan of the trail blazers for A.D. Ryan
Kalkbrenner would be a risk with upside.
Curious why you think we'd need a young Center considering we have Lively and Gafford (and even Cisse').

Some thoughts…
One good thing about the Exum injury is it makes it easier to balance the body count in trades. Many deals for Davis take 2-3 returning players meaning we need to send someone out or cut someone. Exum can either be cut to accommodate the trade or be included in the trade to make the roster limits stuff work and cut by his new team.
Perkins was on some show with Devon Harris and said his sauces are saying to keep an eye on Philly for Davis. Rich Paul represents Maxey and Davis. Obviously, that means eatIng the Paul George deal, so the trade is mainly based on picks. Yuck.
Issac at Locked On had an interesting thought. He doesn’t see Davis to Charlotte (a sentiment Perkins echoed). His thought was you send AD to Chicago, the Chicago stuff (expirings, White and a pick) we’ve talked about to Charlotte and Ball to Dallas. I’m not the biggest Ball fan (and he’s typically not any healthier than Davis). We probably don’t get a pick in this situation as any Chicago pick probably goes to Charlotte. I’d want something else…maybe Essengue? Essengue and Ayo?
If we are going to do a 3 team swap that involves Charlotte and Ball, I’d rather it be with Detroit. I’m intrigued by Ron Holland. I might do something that had Ball and Holland to add to Flagg, Lively and Max as your young core. That’s a ton of D to put around Ball or Kyrie. Again, I don’t love Ball, but he would make the offense work better when healthy and he does have the size to play next to Kyrie on the rare occasions when both are available.

It would be trading one injury prone guy for a younger injury prone guy, I mean Lamelo is a great fit if he’s ever healthy. I’d probably like Lamelo better than a package surrounding Bulls expirings and a first.

Rather just keep Essengue. You can easily move Vucevic and White. White will be in high demand with Minnesota (Houston) imho. Minnesota is only beating bad teams, cause they lack a true PG. Conley + Miller/Beringer/Dillingham + Wolves 1st (projected between 18-25) for White. Beringer would obviously be the best prospect.
Moving on Vucevic for a mid to late first might be a more difficult, since Boston would bid against themselves. Don´t see another fit, unless you want to deal with the Lakers again. Maybe an Porzingis injury could help us out for once and we take the Suns pick via Atlanta. That be another first (projected 13 - 20).
Conley + Porzingis expiring completely take Davis´s contract off the board.
Say we turn Klay into Isaac + Howard. Also both expiring, but Howard is at least interesting to have a discussion.
Kyrie 39.5
Washington 19.8
Gafford 17.2
Flagg 14.5
Patterson 13.8
Martin 10.0 unbe-fn-lievable
Marshall 9.5
Christie 8.2
Lively 7.2
Dillingham 6.8
Hardy 6.0
Russell 6.0
Essengue 5.4
Suns pick 4.6
Wolves 3.6

I think the Bulls trade is the most likely cause the acquired players can be moved on and used to generate additional assets, while creating a very comfortable cap situation moving forward.

My guess is if they do the Bulls trade they keep White. A starting lineup of Lively/PJ/Flagg/White/Kyrie with a bench of Gafford/Naji/Max/Williams/lottery pick is a playoff team depending on Flagg growth and team health.

I have a lot of concerns with Ball, health being the biggest one, but he would be a perfect fit (when healthy) and he just turned 24. If we could pull off a trade for Ball without giving up a first, you would have to seriously consider it.

Lamelo makes AD look like an incredibly healthy player, by comparison. (And I have been very much wanting AD gone, because of you can't build a team around a player you can't rely on.) HARD PASS for me on LB.

Don't get me wrong i love lively and really would love to build aroud him with flagg, but i truly believe this new gm whoever it may be might go a different route and try to stock up a more a talented roster while he can.
Lively might be the best trade chip on the mavericks worth more than anthony davis, but shhh.... they dont want you to know this.

I can't stand Lamelo. He's one of the few players in the league that might actually make me check out and stop following the Mavs. He's immature, expensive, injury prone, and he runs over fans with his car.

In the end, Dallas would benefit more I think by having at least one good pick.
I'd rather see a good player and a good pick more than I want to see Lamelo in a Mavs uniform (and I don't think Dallas is going to lose it's way to a top 5 pick).

If we are going to trade with Detroit, why not just go straight up? Somebody suggested AD + Klay for Ivey + Harris + Holland + Stewart. Harris gets you the salary relief plus three young players with upside. I would rather do something like that then go after picks.

I'm not really interested in any Davis trade that doesn't bring back picks. I probably like LaMelo more than most, but I still wouldn't want him on this team. Beyond the injury concerns, the maturity issues are a concern and I don't want that drama around the team right now. I don't hate the idea of PG13 if it could serve a few conditions: bring back multiple picks and dump Martin.

What good is a Davis trade that brings back picks in the late teens or early 20s really? I don’t see any team that’s going to project to be mid lottery next season going after AD.

You can trade for future picks beyond the next draft and it's never safe to assume where someone is going to land in the future. The picks and swaps we traded away to put a team around Luka are much more valuable now that Nico submarined our team.

I really like Vucevic. I wouldn't want to trade AD for him, but I like Vucevic.

Stein keeps saying Gafford is the most tradeable Mav (whatever that means). Isaac on Locked On Mavs proposed Gafford/Naji for Kuminga today. You have to add a minimum exception guy coming back to make the money work.
Probably not equal value for GSW, but they really could use a center. Marshall gets the Kuminga minutes, so sending out Kuminga doesn't create a lineup hole for them. We are still overcrowded at forward with Flagg, PJ and Kuminga (Davis moves to center full time). The think I like is that it adds a longer term youngster to the mix. PJ, Flagg and Kuminga probably can't get minutes together, but Flagg and Kuminga certainly can...maybe for years to come.

Hard pass. Kuminga's contract is up after next year.

He had one other (out of a dozen or so) that caught my attention. It was centered around Davis to Atlanta, Trae to Orlando and Suggs to Dallas. There was other stuff. In fact, I think we got Okongwu in this iteration.
