It's just my opinion, but this year's trade deadline went about as poorly as possible for the Dallas Mavericks. Each move seemed focused on future financial flexibility despite the team coming off an NBA Finals appearance with a 25-year-old generational talent.

Heard same as Chris here. The Pistons have strong interest in adding Dennis Schröder to their roster ... which means a player expected to command significant interest on the buyout market will NOT be available after the trade deadline.

From what I hear, they traded for him. I saw it scrolled at the bottom of my TV. I don't know the particulars though.
