Last year summer league was fun for the first time ever. Does it matter? Probably not. I am just tired that we give it no thought, it appears. It isn’t like other teams are filled with nba players but they look for legit interesting players. Maybe you get lucky every few years. Mavs just throw slip out there. I had hope Nico would use this as a fun challenge to your scouting dept.

Lawson shouldn't get another minute in this game. This is high school Lamelo stuff. Mavs are playing 4v5 on defense because he is gambling on transition opportunities.

Miller once again the best player for the Mavs but he cannot get more minutes because Lawson, OMax and Ajinca are higher in the pecking order.

Am I the only one that is seriously confused by this whole we don´t look for stars, we look for roleplayers crap. I want a guy that can score 30 in SL, cause that´s what you need to play in the NBA. Even roleplayers like Crowder or Sarge could drop 40/10 in SL/G-League easily, even if they were just roleplayers.

I think he's confusing summer league with the G-League. I agree with what he's saying (generally) in a G-League setting, which has more consistency and organization. 

Summer league is a free for all. Loads of players look bad.

Personally, I enjoyed a lot of what O-Max brought to the table on defense in game 1, but other than that I agree.
