I have complete turnover stats only since the 1982-83 season.  Since then, there have been 22 NBA playoff games in which a player scored 40 or more points and had zero turnovers:

Bernard King, 1983-04-20

Dominique Wilkins, 1987-04-26

Dominique Wilkins, 1988-05-22

Michael Jordan, 1998-05-19

Shaquille O'Neal, 2000-05-20

Shaquille O'Neal, 2000-06-19

Paul Pierce, 2002-05-03

Kobe Bryant, 2004-05-11

Michael Redd, 2006-04-29

Ben Gordon, 2009-04-20

Brandon Roy, 2009-04-21

Dwyane Wade, 2009-05-01

Carmelo Anthony, 2010-04-17

Jason Richardson, 2010-04-22

Kevin Durant, 2011-04-27

LaMarcus Aldridge, 2016-05-02

Chris Paul, 2018-05-08

Kevin Durant, 2019-05-04

Jamal Murray, 2020-08-23

Jamal Murray, 2020-08-25

Chris Paul, 2021-06-30

Jalen Brunson, 2022-04-18

Wonder how short that list is if you include the 8 rebounds and 5 assists.

Is five "short"?

Dominique Wilkins, 1987-04-26

Shaquille O'Neal, 2000-05-20

Jamal Murray, 2020-08-23

Jamal Murray, 2020-08-25

Jalen Brunson, 2022-04-18

Why don't we go ahead and throw in Jalen's two steals as well?  That will shorten the list to ... ONE:

Since the 1982-83 season, Jalen Brunson is the ONLY player to record 40 (or more) points, 8 (or more) rebounds, 5 (or more) assists, 2 (or more) steals, and zero turnovers in an NBA playoff game.

JB has a career high playoff game and the coach that was holding him back all of a sudden wants him.

I hope JB says to kick rocks!

The Pacers should absolutely kick rocks, but...

come on now. Rick didn't hold JB back. He contributed to developing JB and now we're seeing Jalen's four year progression continue.

JB and Rick are the perfect match.  Luka, not so much.

Demaris was just on the Ticket saying JB will get at least a 5 year, $20M a year deal in offseason.

How about we don´t do that and send Joker the four player list instead with a little note that says: We have a Jamal Murray, too. You have a Luka Doncic? Cool Big Grin

I find the whole thing ironic because I actually disagree with this.  Rick gave up on Brunson pretty early in last year's playoffs.

Luka was (is) too good to give up on or for Rick to impose his will on.  That's not a knock on JB either.

So... Malcolm Brogdon money. Makes sense.

(Now to read the rumors about Indy wanting to sign Brunson and move Brogdon. Hold up...)

According to Spotrac, Indy has some 25 mil of cap space if they let Rubio, Jalen Smith and Warren walk.

I was trying to be a little hyperbolic but I mainly agree. Rick absolutely developed JB. Although I don't think it's a stretch to think he pigeonholed him to a strict role and his system didn't allow him to flourish. He was a pseudo 6th man at best while RC was here.

If I liked JB, and I don't, I'd say his best attribute is that he bust through every artificial ceiling I've put over his head.  I'm willing to spend Mark's money on him.

Agree with the bolded, but I just think that may have been mainly do to stage of development, not restrictions.
