Mavs probably aren´t the worst but I don´t think free agents are lining up to join the Mavs because it is a player friendly orgnanization.

Besides all of those players being horribly bad upon arriving, the one common thread between them was that the main antagonist for all of them was RC.

He isn't here anymore.

I think if Porzingis goes to Toronto it´s for Siakam straight up and maybe Kleber + X for Dragic in the side deal for some added value to Toronto.

Siakam makes even more money than Porzingis over the next three years. That´s a BIG contract, too.

We seriously would need more help at the 5 if we sold KP for a pick package.

Ideally those picks could help bring in the next center, but sheesh the Mavs would take a big step back this year.

I will just put this here, I hate trading with Toronto, Miami, San Antonio (although that has cooled the last few years) and Morey.    Tough to win trades against those teams.

I think Siakam is playing too well.....BUT maybe he still wants out. But I would be surprised to have him involved honestly.

This makes the most sense if Pascal and OG are considered untouchable. Raps can't just get a 20ppg guy for someone that doesn't even want to be apart of their roster.

I would be against trading KP in that package....unless it lead to us getting Johns Collins, Myles Turner, or another center type who can be a starting center for a top tier team.    I also wouldn't want to drain all our assets in that type of move.

Dragic, Precious, filler (lets say Boucher) and first seem awfully little. I would want more.

RE: TOR interest in KP

It would make sense of all the Turner and Holmes and Collins interest from the Mavs. It just always felt like the Mavs were quietly positioning themselves to move KP.

Something like this I would do:
Dal: Holmes, Trent, Dragic
Sac: Boucher, Precious, pick
Tor: KP

Wow.

If Dallas suddenly has a major need for a center, Holmes and Turner make sense. I suspect the deal with Indy would be THJ/Powell for Turner/Rubio. If you can do that AND get Holmes into the TPE, center won't be an issue even without KP.

Yeah pivoting and adding 2 pretty good centers for KP fixes that issue. Still, TOR needs to add more than just Dragic and filler for a high impact (when healthy) 20ppg guy. If I'm the Mavs I ask for Trent Jr. TOR has too many wings as is.

Not sure if that applies to Johnson and Jordan. I think they weren´t happy about the trade destination. And I think that is part of the Mavs reputation because the Mavs are doing it all the time. As a free agent that has to be a part of the thought process. If I join the Mavs and things aren´t working out immediately I might end up on an even worse team.

This is my ideal scenario. Mavs probably add Maxi since SAC made a statement through their reporters that they want win-now guys.
