Probably better to try to get the rust knocked off and KP reintegrated against Orlando and OKC than to wait until the back-to-back with Toronto and Phoenix

Do you honestly think that's a realistic deal? If so, I hope it happens.

I really do think it's a fair deal with a couple seconds attached on our side (maybe a single first). Not sure on Tor or Dal side of whether or not they will part with either player though (for an even swap where both teams are getting value and it's pretty hard to decifer who the better player is, or how much better one is over the other).

Siakam announced last season he wanted out, he's still playing with them, so it wasn't a very hard stance, but it was still said and no reporting has made clear that the situation was put aside. Because he hasn't been traded, we know there hasn't been an offer that Tor feels is enough, but have no clue what those supposed offers have been.

I know not everyone here is a Cowboys fan, but I for one would like the Mavs to start off a weekend of winning in Dallas. Must win game.

It will be interesting to see if those "pick and roll coverages" remain "spot on" tonight with Porzingis back in action.

@"mvossman" Get ready.

This is the starting lineup I’ve been waiting to see!  This lineup should feature KP/Luka in a pick and roll along with a secondary ball handler in Brunson.  Kleber and DFS for 3 and D.  IMO this is what we should roll with over the next several weeks up to the trade deadline to see and KP/Luka can work together.  If not then KP needs to go.  KP is a good player maybe even an ALL-Star.  But if he can’t/won’t play pick and roll with Luka then we need to find a big who can or will.

Things I am watching in this game:

1) How the defense looks with KP back and DP going to the bench.

2) How Luka and KP play off of each other.

3) How Luka and JB play off of each other.

4) The ever constant, "Luka watch" and how he is moving and shooting as well as his shot selection.

So far I like the spacing. Post ups only one called plays. Rest of the time the big that isn´t involved in the pick and roll stays on the perimeter.

THJ playing like his old Knicks self. It´s a downward spiral. Lost his starting spot and minutes.  Forces it on offense. It´s not working and coaches reduce his minutes even further. Chucking gets even worse.
