I don't have a lineup, but I feel a special place is Mavericks' hell should be reserved for Derek Fisher, Doug Christie and Lamar Odom.

What do I not remember about Doug Christie’s time here?  I just remember him being washed, but I don’t remember anything deserving hate.

He was traded from SAC to NOP then amnestied after the season. Signed with DAL summer of 2005, but was released in November. Problems with ankles and bone spurs ended his career.

I think any hate is for when he was in SAC where he was a PITA to DAL.

I notice no LBJ on the preseason MVP list.

I think 7th is too low for DAL, but injuries and/or COVID may prove too much for a top 4 ranking. (it's pre-season, we can all be optimistic right now.)

I was actually excited when Christie was signed due to being a defensive force being named to NBA's all-defensive teams 4 times in a row from 2000 to 2004.

But as soon as he arrived there was just a lot of drama and then he only lasted 7 games.  I know the official story for being waived was injuries.  But I just don't buy it.

I never had a problem with Doug Christie. But his wife Jackie? She probably deserves a special place in the hate lineup. She's crazy.
