I think we are playing 0.500 ball with unfit Luka this season. 6-7 until OKC, then we had the good stretch without him and with him looking refreshed. Then he re-injured himself and back to being crap with lazy movement and decision-making. It´s just not acceptable that Washington gets one shot in a half. The lob passes to Lively and Gafford were all crappy TOs, too. We are obviously better with a healthy Luka and the biggest danger is burning out Kyrie.   I also genuinely think we are better without this version of Luka and we win the game last night, if he sits it out.

Luka most likely won't play the 65 games required to be all NBA this year. Surely that will be a wake up call for taking care of his body.

Right now we are tracking that 73% of NBA players are either ineligible or on pace not to be eligible for postseason honors.

Also his streak of 5 consecutive All-NBA First Team selections will come to an end.

But what’s worse is that we will probably fall back in the rankings to all those teams close to each other between place 5 and 11 instead of separating in the next couple of weeks.

I didn’t see the comeback but another game where our centers did not put up stats. It has sort of been a trend in most of our losses.

So based on this you are expecting the record percentage to improve while he is out?

No I don´t. I don´t think Kyrie can carry this team for an extended period of time.

But there are three versions of the team if you like and for the first time I think the order is

Healthy Luka >>>>> No Luka >> Shitty unfit Luka.

Usually it was

Healthy Luka >>>>>>>>>>>> Shitty unfit Luka >>>>>> No Luka

Without going too deep into the schedule I think they´ll play about 0.500 ball, which means they´d finish about 45-37, bump that by 3-4 wins, if Luka returns healthy and we are still close to 50 wins.
