Based on the 1st quarter so far, it´s time to hit the brakes on he´ll be good/impactful immediately. His defense looked awful to be honest. Very slow in rotation, very slow reactions. never in the right place for a rebound. Honestly he looked like a White Omax, like he had no feel or understanding of the game.

I´m pretty sure that´s not the case, but it might just tell us, that he´s an 18 year old supposed to the saviour of Nico´s life.

Okay maybe he just needed a wake-up call to settle his nerves. He certainly looks better offensively than defensively so far.

Tough to tell anything from summer league (good or bad) but it seems fairly obvious Flagg is going to be a big help to the team's transition game.

Damn he´s so fast down the court. That will be deadly, when Luka returns in 18 months. Big Grin

I think Flagg has/had some early jitters. As the game continues you can see him get more comfortable. And with that comfortability he's showing off his stuff.

The ball handling is WAY further ahead than I expected. And he looks way bigger than I remember him at duke.

So far, Nembhard has looked amazing. He showed off that mid range jumper and he looked like CP3 there.

I have no idea whether Nembhard can pass, but the way he creates separation in the mid range and finds these little pockets reminds me of JJB, Nash, Brunson and CP3. Now this is not the big leagues yet, but he at least has a shot with that ability.

Flagg really shines in transition. A few bounces here and there and we're talking about a double digit scoring quarter with good defense.

Nemby really shone though. Amazing mid range game and great outlet passes.

Should've taken that open 3 instead of dribbling into the defense for a worse pull-up, but it went in, and yeah he's looked good.

Interesting to hear that he's the guy they wanted to trade into the 2nd round to get.

Hard to believe Sharpe's takeaway from last year wasn't something along the lines of "I've got to learn how to set good, legal screens."

In college almost 40% of his shot attempts came from the left high post. He loves the shot. I'm glad he's shown thus far he can create the space to take the shot.

I'm also surprised that the announcer broke the news that Nembhard was the dude the Mavs were trying to trade for. And it's almost even more surprising he went undrafted. Maybe his agent forced his way to Dallas?

9.8 assists per game as a senior.

Flagg's trail ability after getting screened is insane. If that wasn't called a foul that would've been a highlight defensive play to smother the shot.
