Game 32: Dallas Mavericks (20-11) vs. Portland Trailblazers (10-20) | 8:00pm CST

Never seen Ayton play this hard. Also our defense has been really bad.

Probably a poor choice by Kidd to start all the old farts. We are basically chasing that deficit all game. Feel that does not happen, if he starts Grimes and Omax instead of Dinwiddie and Kleber.

Gafford has an ability to play extremely annoying.

Ah Billups is not there. Makes sense that Portland looks like a different team.

Great job Kidd. Let´s start the same five that dug us a 20 pt hole early in the 1st half.

So what does that mean, him not being there? I heard his Grandma passed away.

That he is a bad coach.

Expectations were low and it seemed like Vegas was handing out free money with their line, but I still expected more.

Well the Mavs did make a game of it, but Klay has come up old.

Kleber has played 30 minutes and hasn't scored?

Bad night on defense, too. As high as I am on Kleber at center, usually, closing with him over Gafford was a mistake tonight.

Still, just the fact that Kidd decided to go that way should tell us something.

Kleber had to shoot that.

What a crazy comeback and wasted Kyrie performance. Naji+PJ win this game.

Maxi not shooting the wide open 3 and Klay fumbling it away made me so mad.

Made it competitive late with some Kyrie magic. Just not enough, I think with 30 seconds left.

Fought back, just couldn’t get a few more stops. Mavs dug too deep a hole. I guarantee you Portland would have choked late if Mavs kept it with 6-10 most of the game. Just got down too much. Poor Klay shooting game…with some important misses. Dinwiddie scored late but he had a poor shooting night for most of the night. Disappointing kleber encore performance.

Klay was atrocious. Kidd overplayed him, even with all the missing players. That was pretty much the difference in the game.

Kleber was horrific tonight. Zero paint presence defensively. Had literally nothing to give on the offensive end. Passed up wide open shot over and over and on the other end it was a layup line.

Dinwiddie was awful tonight too. Had some of the worst shot choices and when Kyrie is literally a flamethrower in the 4th decides to hoist up not 1 but 2 transition 3s.

Horrible.

Kidd also sticking with zone in the 4th was also a massive mistake. Ugh very annoyed at this very winnable loss.

I guess this was expected. Until the fourth the looked a step slow. Almost, but not quite.

Mavs will not have much room for error moving forward. Defense need to really carry them. Hopefully they can stay relatively healthy too.

I don’t want pj to miss more games, but I wanted to see what would have happened with Marshall playing. Without PJ, the PF position is an issue if Marshall can’t play there. Maxi is a wild card/genie in a bottle for a playoff series. Tough to count on him. Omax is not ready for playoff ball yet.

Kyrie -15. Worst +/- on the team

Dinwiddie 35 min
Grimes 27 min

Hardy 16 min
Gortman 5 min

If your rim protection is out, might wanna re-consider mins to avg/bad defenders.

Honestly can't figure out why OMax is so deep in Kidd's doghouse.
Can't believe he could only get 13 mins when Naji and PJ are out and on a B2B.
Seems like this would have been the perfect time to give him heavy minutes.
I didn't see the whole game so maybe I'm missing something.
