Game 22: Memphis Grizzlies (14-7) vs. Dallas Mavericks (13-8) | 7:30pm CST
#21
I think Lively just discouraged all five grizzlies players from shooting on that possession, resulting in an airball three.

Missed a three, weird miscue with Luka on that inbound and gout outSMARTEd once on a drive but other than that I see a guy who plays good defense, makes good reads, plays unselfish and was part of the lineups that outscored MEM.

+9 in 12 minutes

I REALLY don’t get the constant nagging. He’s still a competent NBA player and looks like a guy who doesn’t put his ego first here so far. Good body language all around, no passive aggressive KP stuff. I’m more than fine with him.

Lively has been good all year but this is the first game I’ve thought he’s been AS good as last year. Elite stuff!

Well played half except for the turnovers.

That was one of the better halves of his young career, for sure.

Also we have a +23 edge on OKC for the wildcard. They already up 16 in the 2nd quarter. Just winning might not be enough for us.

Kind of fitting if OKC ends up winning by like 40 or 50 and gets it
They should win the tournament if they get in

Thunder are running up the score. Ugh. They have made up the 23 pts in the 3rd quarter.

Phoenix is the other pt. differential team and they are up 12 against the Spurs, too.

Now we need to win and get a Suns win by less than 22 or we out.

Also the Knicks put some respect to Goga´s name. He´s out and the whole Magic team collapses.

EDIT: J. Green 36 minutes zero points. Such a frustrating player.

Prett erratic finish to the second quarter. Feels like they could be up more than just three points.

Luka vastly improved yet again but now it’s Kyrie struggling. Dinwiddie played a bit too much imo. In games like this I‘d like to see them play Hardy here & there in an almost strictly offball role. Maybe that helps him to find his groove.

Bench has lost their minutes pretty significantly so far.

Just seems like Memphis getting all the loose balls, all the calls right now.

Luka gave up on rotating on that last one. He might need a breather soon. He has been locked in all night, so I’d hate to see him slack off now that things are getting tough.

This is a really good Memphis team. Really impressive.

First poor game from Kyrie in a while. Let’s see if he can get going. Klay missing some really good looks.

Unfortunately, these skilled, athletic, and physical teams are kryptonite for Kyrie. He just doesn’t play well against them.
