Lively and Thompson both available tonight, Marshall out though.
Klay will play around 20 minutes per Kidd. Might this be the return of the Kyrie Klay Luka PJ Lively starting group? So far those five played really darn good alongside each other whenever they shared the court. I could also see them stick with Grimes though.

Don't guess anyone really cares but the seeding for the NBA cup is decided tonight
we could still be the wildcard team if we win and the point differential goes our way against the other 3-1 teams Knicks/Magic and Rockets/Kings the games to watch

My strong instinct is that Grimes should start tonight to deal with Morrant, but there’s no telling what Kidd will do. Can’t wait to see.

Boston is out with every Orlando loss by less than 38. Down 20 at the half.
Also we have a +23 edge on OKC for the wildcard. They already up 16 in the 2nd quarter. Just winning might not be enough for us.

No idea why Dinwiddie plays so many minutes
12-03-2024, 08:58 PM
Man, the off-ball movement has been so much better lately. Grimes, in particular, is clever with that.

No doubt Thibs is dumb enough to play his starters 40+ minutes to put Boston throught to the quarters.

Good, hard-played quarter. Jackson is a horrible matchup for Gafford, which was the main reason the lead was lost, in my opinion. Jackson is struggling to defend Gafford inside, too, but there’s disparity seems greater on the other end. Gafford just can’t move well enough to hang with athletic bigs on a good team that knows how to move the ball.

The starters looked pretty darn good Imo. Memphis came out hot but they answered and „won“ their stint +1.
Bench also looks solid.

It’s amazing how much better everything works on both sides of the floor when Lively is in the game.

I don’t want to jinx it, but credit deserved by both the game plan and player execution for keeping Morant so quiet to this point. Unreal, and he’s the type they’ve struggled to defend in recent years.

Luka not out of the MVP race just yet
12-03-2024, 09:20 PM
I feel like Thompson is passing up shots in order to attack closeouts a little too quickly this year. Washington and Marshall should probably err that way, but Thompson and Grimes need quick triggers.
12-03-2024, 09:22 PM
Gafford just cannot hang with Jackson, but if playing straight up is contributing to holding Morant down I’m all for it.
12-03-2024, 09:23 PM
They should put Klay on the bench for his own good. This is just embarrassing.
12-03-2024, 09:25 PM
Now some guy named Huff is running circles around Gafford. Time to bring back Lively.
12-03-2024, 09:26 PM
Dinwiddie killing us
12-03-2024, 09:26 PM
We should steal the Memphis head of scouting or/and player development. It´s stupid that they can turn everybody into a NBA player.
