It makes me wonder about DFS if we can play this good without him.

DFS is -0.3 on/off for the season....-7.5 on defense. He has not been good this year.

As I said in the game chat, DFS is an average NBA bench player who shouldn't get more than 20 mins/game except in an emergency. 

I think RC has fallen in love with DFS like he did with the Matrix (post 2011) and plays him heavy minutes even when it isn't helping the team. 

I think one of the biggest problems so far is that the Mavs wings suck together:





Basically this is a bad team (bottom 8 team in the NBA in Net Rating) when any combo of THJ, DFS, and JR play together....and when there is only one of them at a time then this is one of the better teams in the league (almost a top 8 team in the NBA).
