Naji+Klay for Jrue. Clears the roster spot for Tarik, who replaces a bit of both outgoing.

Mavs would have ~$10m to offer Tarik year 1. Not saying that’s what it would take, just what they’d have available.

Props for thinking of that. Very creative.  Even at his advanced age, he would clean up the backcourt.  He can play some point (not ideal, but can play it).  I think Max would be ok going to the bench and you then have a nice mix and match.

Unfortunately for a team like Portland looking to make a jump after making the playoffs, I can't see them moving him.   I think Sharpe can be had pretty cheap and Scoot would be next.  We will see.
