The price increases on standard YoutubeTV is a totally seperate discussion, but I have enjoyed the NBA package. I can start the games late and fast forward thru commercials. I could not start games late a few years ago using the NBA.com league pass.
It was announced last week Youtubetv will not be offering NBAleague pass this year. It will be done by Amazon instead. I have not seen any pricing yet or how it will work.
To complicate things there are different platforms in play this year. So I assume not all the games will be on League Pass? Seems to be pretty dificult to a really simple request. I want to watch most of the Mavs games.
I already have had Amazon Prime and recently got Peacock for "free" through my cable subscription. I also have just bought league pass through the NBA website every year and use a VPN to make it appear I'm in another state so I can get around the local blackout. I think they lowered the cost to $100 bucks a year now? That way if I have to miss a game live (which nowadays is getting too often for my liking), I have the DVR recording of it basically as soon as the game is done. Sometimes the VPN thing can get a little finicky at times so I have to wait to watch a game, but it's usually worked with no issues for me.
I suppose my avenue isn't the cheapest but it works for me.
