It also raises the question of teams with multiple high level paid players if this is a roadmap they will follow. For instance, Orlando. They have Paolo and Franz coming up. Suggs is making good money and so is Bane. Will they need to do some cost cutting in two years?

I think Boston's new owners having to pay 500 million in luxury tax had more to do with those trades than a Tatum injury. Tatum injury only made it easier for them to offload salary.
