Maybe Kidd, Kyrie, Tyson and even Dirk come to the point Luka just wasnt the culture cornerstone to build around.
He was a building block talent wise but maybe not much after that.
I agree that the fans know little about what happened behind the scenes. maybe it was an order from the owner who wants a relocation of the team and the minimum financial commitment possible by 2027. Nico imho is a scapegoat in some way. he had to justify a stupid trade he himself may also utterly hate. Nico gets paid for whatever he did, and he also gets paid to claim responsibility for the aftermaths of the trade. it's nico's job and he has no love for the team or the city, it's understandable he did whatever was needed to keep his job, but still, fuck Nico the shameless shithead Harrison.
luka may not be the right player for us to build around. he's still a good player and probably he will become the new face of the league in LA, but i just find it hard to root for him anymore now that he's wearing the LA jersey.
