Mavs took care of business. The Bulls have gotten off to an ok start, but that is a bad team. They were missing a few guys as well, but that team should not be trying to win...as they apparantly are. Their rookie looked pretty good, but can't make much off one game.
Marshall continued to impact games. How Luka started is my favorite Luka. I love when he begins games by getting others shots. Defense and giving up offensive rebounds will need to be monitored closely. Mavs were missing most of their good defenders, but they still have plenty of work to do. Pretty shocking the TV crew said last night was the first game the other team didn't score on their first possession of a game.
Even if they beat a hot PHX team on Friday, I think they would still be a game behind expectations to start the season. A mixed bag 5 game homestand. Some really enjoyable stretches in games, but a lot of uneven play outside of these stretches.
