There's a difference between tough and dirty.
Royce O'neal, who is 6'5" and listed at 226lbs blindsided a guy 4 inches shorter and 30lbs lighter from behind because he (and the rest of his team) simply weren't good enough to stop the guy when playing fairly. That's the opposite of tough. It's a coward's move and I don't want it anywhere near this team.
(And honestly, in the regular season games, I watched O'neal and thought he looked interesting--not something we'd want to trade real assets for, but certainly the type we needed more of. But he's now on my 'don't touch with a 10-foot pole' list).
