Green is a bit of a knuckleballer out there. He still makes a lot of mistakes and there are times I wish he would just spot up in the corner after a cut but his movement really changes things up. He finds his way to unusual spots on the floor. He does a great job sacrificing himself with movement, to create lanes for other guys.
It also occurred to me that Kidd might be trying to turn him into a point guard. His handle needs work, but it makes some sense, especially if you're starting Brunson. Kidd seems to have history with - and affinity for - big PG projects who can't shoot. Something to keep an eye on.
I don’t know about him becoming a PG, but they are certainly starting to run plays when he initiates the action. Kidd does the same with Frank and Sterling too and neither is a traditional PG either. Green’s floor time is almost always positive, so something good happens when he plays despite his shortcomings. I hope his role/minutes continue to grow as the upside seems to be there if he can keep his confidence by not being asked to do too much too quickly.
