I get the financial angle, but Boston's insistence of loading up on guards while Atlanta stacks the frontcourt is pretty strange on both counts. I imagine they each have future moves in mind.

Ya, after I looked at the length of Hield's contract I was gonna edit that post, but it was up too long at that point. Three more years of Hield on that bad contract is not worth the trade, which says something about the comparable player in THJ.

So here's the thing... THJ should get a similar deal or one slightly less. Hield is a better shooter and overall scorer. 
Why worry about playing THJ if that's our thought process on Hield? He immediately becomes a liability once we sign him.
