I think all the concerns for Stotts depend on 2 things:
1. Can he get a HC job elsewhere?

2. How was his relationship with Kidd when he was here as a player?
I think, first, if he had a hand in helping RC relinquish control on the court to Kidd, then Kidd would possibly extend a hand in bringing him in the fold. After that, it depends on the other offers that might be on the table for TS.

I mean when Kidd was here as a player Stotts was an assistant. They won a chip together. Could it be possible he also forged a friendship then?
I don't think just because Stotts is friends with RC it means he's automatically disqualified from an assistant job.
Granted that he wants to be an assistant again.
