The trade and extend had to be Drummond. No one is paying Iggy top dollar and you can't extend with a pay cut.

Yeah, anyone who believes MKG has untapped potential in 3PT shooting is reaching. Forget his age for a second. This is his 8th NBA season and still hasn't figured it out. I am sure professional coaches and even Michael Jordan tried their hardest to help his jumper. MKG is a great kid too, great work ethic. It's not rocket science. He just can't shoot, his mechanics suck, it is what it is. And that's okay, we don't need him to be an outside shooter. Mavs have plenty of offense, we just need a slasher who can play defense. Something like Shawn Marion off the bench.

0 chance it was Drummond in my mind.
Mavs are into analytics. They're not acquiring a crappy player like Drummond because rebounds.

Actually, since Miami had the same issue being unable to comes to terms with Gallo and we have heard the Mavs liked him and he fits better than Drummond...bet it was Gallo.

Deandre Jordan learned to shoot freethrows for the first time in his career with his half season on the Mavs Hate to see teams like our rivals (the Rockets) be aggressive at the tdl and in the buyout market, can we waive lee and jackson already so we can make some upgrades?

It's not like other teams don't have shooting coaches. DeAndre thing was psychological, he didn't need to change his shot mechanics. Not to mention free throws are something completely different. Even if I forget what I just said - why the hell didn't the magical Mavs shooting coaches teach Powell to shoot? https://twitter.com/DwainPrice/status/1230253124050464768?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1230253124050464768&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fbleacherreport.com%2Fdallas-mavericks (02-20-2020, 09:01 AM)omahen Wrote:I believe with enough work and coaching any shot is fixable, or in this case, recreated haha. Unless its caused by nerve damage like fultz, I think even telling him to scrap his old shot and start over could help fix it. Kind of amazes me how some people have SUCH broken shots and make it pro, like Lonzo. This video should prove the mavs are already working on it with him, and based on their previous track record, I do believe MKG will be shooting threes if he stays with us long enough to develop it.(02-20-2020, 08:57 AM)Baller AI Wrote: Deandre Jordan learned to shoot freethrows for the first time in his career with his half season on the Mavs

No Dirk. No Holger. A mad scientist might be the only thing that can fix his jumper.

Should be a good chance for an offensive rebound

If RC Bobi's this guy instead of giving him pretty much all of Justin's minutes at the bare-skull minimum, I might break things.
