He TALKS about playing the 4 a lot, but so did Porzingis, and when you look back through AD’s career you see that he’s actually been a 5 more than not. It’s not like he refuses to play, or plays less hard. 

The problem is with Harrison, Kidd, Vogel and whomever else over there is infatuated with this 1987 brand of basketball. That’s what I think, at least.

That's fair and I agree on the 1987 basketball we're seeing. I think Kidd needs to just tell AD he's the 5 going forward and let's move on.

He's 18.  He will put on muscle.

His height and wing span are the exact same as Aaaron Gordon, a guy whose first few years in the NBA were wasted because the Magic played him at small forward.  Aaron Gordon is now the prototypical 4 in the modern NBA.

I know he’ll muscle up a little. I just expected him to be a bit taller.  I’d prefer him as a well sized, multi tooled 3 than a regular to slightly smaller 4.  But he and PJ are the right forward combo for this team. This looks ugly right now. The Wiz are a bad team.

I'm not sure it's panic time, but Kidd has to scratch this big lineup before next game before he loses this season. DLo has to be the starting PG and that's not negotiable. If they don't fix it quick, they might be looking at a 1-4 start or 0-5.

The starters play 10 of 48 minutes together. What difference does that make? DLO is at 9 minutes. He definitely needs to be closer to 30 to be most effective though.

energy is much better when the youngs are in there.  It goes away when they bring two olds in.  AD is an energy vampire so far this year.  The team is too dependent on AD.  They shouldn't be.  He holds the ball, keeps the pace slow, and the offense dies.    Flagg, PJ and lively is the group they need to make runs with.

I personally like the Flagg, PJ, Max and Lively lineup. Who is that last person. Marshall has been pretty bad so far this year.

The team as a whole has no offensive spark. Defense is worse though.

I like Coop with the ball in his hands, but he is probably not ready to run an offense. He is great getting the ball and going though.

I want DLo to play 25-30 also and I was alluding to him getting starter minutes being the starter. I think the offense is too stagnant with the starters and faster starts would be beneficial. Giving DLo 25-30 minutes would definitely improve our chances of winning basketball.
