Exum unfortunately has not an NBA body.
He can't play 100 games per season.

It is a minimum guy and Dallas probably needs someone who can play important minutes. I would actually be fine if they just asked him to play two games a week and gave the other one to Brandon Williams. Maybe that way you can keep him healthy.

They may get an asset in a S&T or they may sign him to roughly MLE because he can't get more elsewhere. So it might have been Caleb vs air and a couple of seconds, or it may have been Caleb vs Grimes + using that second to get off some salary and trade for a PG.
Yep, because their cap payroll is lower than DAL's, PHI has multiple useful avenues with QG using the RFA situation that were not really available to the Mavs if they had kept QG. It is what it is and its one consequence of having a good chunk of useless salary cluttering your cap.

I think he's pretty smart for realizing the scope of this opportunity. I bet he could've gotten more money from some terrible team out there, but this is a situation wherein if he plays well people will notice and talk about it.

Yep. Television and ESPN highlights for Flagg mostly, but he'll be in those videos.

Klay and DLo working out. Klay looks good with the new haircut. Klay has such an interesting life. Seems like he is all over the place.
