PHX just does not appear to be a realistic option. Miami doesn't want Beal. No other team is going to want him either unless they get a good asset. PHX doesn't have any.
I still think GS and Houston make the most sense. Both teams may not be willing to make an offer now, but that could change right before the trading deadline. FVV seems like just a guy and one who can be replaced. Maybe they get an asset like Cam Whitmore. or something like that.

This is a hard negotiation to puzzle out
There are a lot of mouths to feed here. Butler wants a team who can trade for him AND who will give him more max-like years (is PHX the only one)? MIA wants good players in return without clogging their payroll (hard to do that when you have to send back around 50M in salary). So Butler wants PHX. (Of the teams he has mentioned, they are the only one with an easy salary match for B's 48.8M, with Beals' 50.2M). But MIA won't take Beal. (a) They can't take back ANY extra salary. (b) More importantly, Beal has 2 more years at 54, 57, which is what they won't pay Butler, not wanting to be in the financial noose it would create, and Beal isn't as good. The question is Beal's league-wide value -- whether someone wants Beal (and his salary) enough to send some usable players and expiring contracts (which will go to MIA). Then again, MIA probably doesn't want a slew of bodies back, where they have to waive half the team to fit the incoming players, so there has to be a fairly large salary or two included. It's a tough one.

The other nail in that Beal coffin is that Beal has to accept where he is being redirected… I don’t see Beal accepting a deal sending him to Detroit or any other team that has the financial flexibility to absorb him.
Beal’s list of acceptable destinations might be shorter than Jimmy’s

Beal just isn't it. Butler is much better than him. I can see him fit way better than Beal ever did next to Booker+Durant. I hope the Suns don't get Butler cause why should they get a good player for a bad one? I hope Beal flexes his NTC and stays in PHX

@esidery
Bradley Beal’s agent, Mark Bartelstein, did not rule out the possibility he waives his full no-trade clause if the “perfect” situation came up, per @WindhorstESPN (https://espn.com/nba/story/_/id/43332318...leave-suns). Phoenix is openly shopping Beal around the NBA in hopes of acquiring Jimmy Butler.

Conversely:
@TheDunkCentral Bradley Beal waiving his no-trade clause is ‘not even a consideration’ at this time, per @WindhorstESPN

Well...the Suns need to find someone that wants him before they approach him and his agent about waiving his no trade.

The moral of this story is:
Never, ever overpay. Even if the player is a fan favorite. Even if he’s extremely loyal. Even if you’ve got cap space. Just don’t.

I’d argue that he was a really good player, but not a max player. Seems like those are often the worst deals.

The Warriors are not interested in trading Jonathan Kuminga or offering Jimmy Butler a contract extension, per @sam_amick

I think Kuminga was frustrating Golden State with a lack of progress earlier in the season but he's been ballin recently.

Yeah but Kuminga is demanding a max extension. If I remember right his agent was floating a trade demand if he couldn’t get his own extension.
