Lately I have been coming around to see the importance of Dwight Powell. He has been playing better but Luka has good chemistry with him that should not be overlooked. Since being reinserted into the starting lineup he has been setting some nice quality screens and has been reducing his offensive fouls from a few a game to just one a game.
As others have said, the guys that we need to move are KP, THJ, and I am open to Maxi as well if it means we get a starting PF.

Would this interest anyone?
KP + Brown (either one) to Sac
Barnes + Holmes to Dal

I'd be into it, with the idea being that Barnes is available to move in another deal at a later date.

Of course. Holmes is still a fantastic PnR big that'd pair well next to Luka. Barnes coming back would be a little weird, but I'd love for him to be moved to another team in need for a defensive wing that can hit a three.
Perhaps ATL like Dan proposed earlier...?

I like that the Knicks are interested as it takes them out of the Brunson race. But the Hawks inclusion doesn't make sense to me. They need defense not more offense. Don't see how McCollum fixes their problems. Probably just a due diligence call.
Further, I think McCollum is greatly underrated. If there was a way to get the Mavs involved and have it work next to Brunson/Luka then I'd be game.

If I was Brooklyn, I would hold on to Harden unless I get a "WTF" offer.
If everyone is healthy in Brooklyn they can win a title. It looks unlikely now, but who knows if they get rolling. Philly can't win a title with their current team this year imo. So I would call Philly's bluff if they are willing to not go all in on an healthy Embid MVP season. I am not saying Philly should do this but Brooklyn holds more power at this stage.
From what I understand, it is going to be very hard for philly to create cap room this summer. They will need to move most of their young players to have a chance to move their big salary players. So Brooklyn has some power in this.

You think they can't if they keep the team and add Harden? I think they would have a very very good team in this wide open league.

Yes, they would have a shot with a peak playing Harden. I don't think they have a chance at a title with their current roster, so I would lean on Philly to give more assets if they want him.
This would all be moot though if I wasn't completely sold on Simmons health.

Depending on who you believe (it's tough at this time of year), the problem is that he doesn't want to be there, after all. Some even say that he's already checking out like he did in Houston, towards the end. Mix in the idea that he's a FA this summer and can walk for nothing, and I'd say there's at least a little reason to explore cashing in now for what they can...if you believe any of that.

That's why a guy like Hield would do wonders here. I'll never stop saying he's a better shooter than Seth and we saw the gravity that Seth had when playing next to Luka. Having 2 elite 3pt shooters on the court makes this team incredibly lethal.
We also have to take into account minute allocation. Since Timmy went down DFS is averaging 37mpg. Bullock 33. I'm actually fine with Bullock getting the extra minutes but DFS is getting a few too many for February imo. Hield also solves that.
Feel like we will have the same issues with him that we had with THJ. He is a better shooter, but even worse defender. Like THJ, I don't really think he fits what Kidd is trying to do here.
