Are you making fun of KP always being injured? Or are you jokingly suggesting the KP could be faking injury to sabotage a trade he doesnt like?
Not joking but I am throwing out wild speculation for fun. Is that the same thing?
But the wild speculation isn't making fun of KP being injured, or suggesting that he may be engaging in sabotage. It's just speculating that the Mavs are being extra cautious with KP so that he doesn't get injured, because an injury would torpedo the trade.

Did Audio see it coming? Or is his comment more about who his favorite NBA player was at the time of the trade?
Love ya Audio!!

I wonder who's value is lower between Simmons and KP.

I believe mental health is real and serious and it is tough to know when it is real and it is not for me to guess. But if there is even a 5% chance Simmons is doing the mental health thing because he doesn't want to be in Philly than that tells me everything I need to know about him.

I agree...and I think the percentage is 90-95%, and if it's true, he is pretty much mocking every person who struggles with this every day. What's next? Is he going to fake a cancer diagnosis to get a break?
I hope and don't hope that he is struggling with mental health truly and not the kind of "mental health" that is really code for "I've screwed up and don't have the integrity to be a man (or woman) of integrity about it." This culture of just continuously doubling down on wrong decisions is a bad deal...he very well may not be..I have no idea, but when something conveniently comes up at just the right time...aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....ya know?

Better questions is...
What do you win by distracting, attacking or going silent?
What do you win by moving the goal posts? What do you win with the "Ol' Bait and Switch"?

I wonder if Hormets would accept KP ..
KP for Hayward ..?
They need a 5 and it fits their age line better ... Hayward misses games too, so maybe they could swallow .. Gordon gives us that second handler, experience and is a very good passer and scorer.
Watching the Spurs ... they will surely end up sinking ...
I really like Poelt I think he is very underrated, one of the best rim protectors in the league ..
Green / MBrown / WCS for Poelt (TPE) / Forbes
The Spurs get and pair of prospects and save money for their tank.
MAVS We get a solid defensive 5 ... big, strong and a flamethrower with a 41.7 run shooting 3 ... We stay like this ... (I'm not sure of the price, but I think they are not unattainable)
Poelt / Powell / Boban
Maxi / DFS / EO
Hayward / Bullock / Brown
THJ / Ntilikina / Burke
Luka / Brunson / Forbes

My guess is that if NO were willing to do Hayward for KP we would have pulled that trigger in the offseason. Then we could have operated under the cap, make the JRich trade, let WCS walk and get THJ and Holmes for cap space. Could still get Frank at the min. Compared to our current team, we would have traded KP/WCS/Bullock for Holmes/Hayward. Would have loved that.

Im a casual fan...I hated the talk of picking up Hayward last year...
But man...when he does play...I like his game. Dont know how well it would work with Luka(two slow questionable defenders)...but Hayward is probably the guy that I regret the Mavs missing out on the most(who was actually kind of gettable I believe) over the past year and a half.
I watch a lot of Charlotte games...and Hayward is just smooth and hits shots. Expensive...but better than KP's contract

If Jordan were smart, he'd say no. At the very least, he should ask for additional compensation in that swap.

But now he's getting paid. And supposedly getting treatment without any help or input from the team.
I sincerely hope he has a problem, not because I wish him any harm, but if he's faking, then it can do harm to everyone who really does have an issue. There are inroads being made into recognizing and treating mental health issues and the social stigma associated is much less than it once was. But every case of abusing the system will negatively affect many who truly need help.

I think the Simmons mental stuff is real. I mean think about it...if it came back to play, he would be booed by Sixers fans. They woulda booed him even if he played nice the whole time. So you have the fans against you, the FO that trashed you at the end of the season, didn't trade you, and now they want everyone to be friends again? On top of being trashes by the media and social media nearly every day? Not saying he hasn't been the culprit in a lot of this, but I just can't see any situation where he could come out on top.

In his situation you don´t need a "real" mental problem to not be able to work.
It might be his own fault, but there is no way he can go there and play without being a mental monster. And we all know he isn´t.
