I mean for a while they will be
(01-13-2021, 05:09 PM)Kammrath Wrote: [ -> ]1) LeVert is 26 with 6000 mins on his body and no major injuries. Dipo is 28 with 14000 mins on his body and a very significant injury to his knee that will have to be managed the rest of his career.

To be fair, LeVert had a pretty bad leg injury in 2018.

He also had a Jones fracture in his foot in college that required 3 surgeries to fix. He's had surgery on his thumb. And a host of other small injuries like a strained groin or concussion.

LaVert if anything has had more major injuries in less playing time than Oladipo ever has had. But Kamm has his picture of Oladipo that's hard to shake.

Yeah the only reason he even fell to 20 in the 2016 draft was his injury red flags. He would easily have been a top 10 pick otherwise. Obviously I wanted the Mavs to just acquire a 1st and take a chance on him. Obviously Mavs were not interested in young talent as usual. Or maybe they were still mad at me, since I suggested they should draft Justin Anderson the previous year. Big Grin
Just stealing it from twitter but we really need a Westbrook-Irving trade.
My bad on the injury history of LeVert, I did not remember that. Does not change may anxiety about Dipo though.

I've been anti-Dipo too and I love LeVert but fair is fair.

Forget about only having one ball on offense, who is playing defense? And once they don´t all get to eat on offense, they´ll be extra motivated on defense. Also a team led by four knuckleheads. Except for not being old this feels a lot like the Super Lakers.

Correction...The Activist hasn't returned to the team and we don't know if he will.  He's saving the world on Zoom and at birthday parties apparently.

In one week, Steve Nash went from possibly being crowned coach of the year, to being fired next year.  wow.
LOL what a bizarro world we live in. Cousins playing the veteran leader card and throwing Harden under the bus for an utter lack of professionalism. And you buy it, too. Confused

Even with Allen, the Nets were trash defensively so I like the Harden addition.  Harden will keep KD happy and opens up the possibility of moving Kyrie which would have ticked him off without the Harden addition.  At some point, even KD has to get fed up with the space cadet routine.  The real question is, what could you get in return for him.
"Knicks of the South" city edition jersey's on sale now in Houston.
...if only I had waited one more week to bail on DeAndre Jordan with the ol' fantasy team.

Already checked. Some smart guy snagged him right away. I was napping (literally).
No way the Mavs could have snuck in on the Allen piece of that puzzle?

Well obviously they would have taken Diamond Powell in return!
Anyone think Hardin will be in basketball shape by May?
