Nationally televised game in the Garden seems primed for a Luka show. Simply playing against the Mavs seems primed for a Julius Randle show. Hopefully Luka’s show is better. Must win game.

A reminder of the greatest Mavs crime committed in free agency.

for

Delon: Guys, pick me up
Luka: on three we each pull hard in opposite directions, maybe we can create an injury exception....

These ain't your Father's Knicks. Jump on them early, don't give them any hope.

The Mavs better eat their Wheaties before this one, as the Knicks can put on a good bully ball exhibition.

"Though it’s too early to fully judge the blockbuster trade, it’s not looking as horrible as it once did for the Knicks."

Hey look -- more Knick propaganda. Let's see what they've got this time.

"Yes, Knicks point guard Dennis Smith Jr. was traded after being a bust with the Knicks..."

And Smith is still the best player they got in the deal! Funny how there's no mention of Matthews or Jordan at all.

"...but they used their cap space to sign Julius Randle, who became an All-Star this season."

Please. The Knicks already had more than enough cap space to sign Randle without doing the KP trade. They ended up using the extra money from the trade on Bobby Portis, Taj Gibson, and Elfrid Payton.

"And the Knicks (24-24) still have major cap room this summer..."

Max offer to Drummond incoming.

"In addition, at least one of their two future first-round picks from Dallas is expected to be used in a big trade."

Just like how the original cap space was expected to be used to sign two superstars?

"They have Dallas’ pick this July, though, with their recent surge, it appears the Mavericks won’t land in the lottery."

The last Knicks draft pick to sign a multi-year contract with New York after his rookie deal was Charlie Ward, who was drafted in 1994.

Ctrl+F "Hardaway". Results not found.

LOL.

I’m still so bitter about losing to these guys last year. This game tonight is a much bigger deal to me than it probably should be but I don’t care. I hope we beat these dudes by 50. But I’ll also happily except a 1 point win.

I think crazy would be predicting that he doesn’t do that.

I think Randle going for 30 is a given, we don't have a post defender. Maxi will get eaten alive by him. Doubling him on the post might be a good strategy, since he tunrs the ball over a lot but our help rotations need to be clean (I'm talking to you Luka).

I know he turns the ball a lot, but 25 TO seems too much. Well, we'll see

My own prediction: the players Dallas got in the KP trade outscore the players New York got in the deal by 50.

Will be surprised if this game doesn't get cancelled.  Once they start thinking about whom all came into contact with whom, they may panic and call the whole thing off.

The odds of being protected against COVID after being fully vaccinated is like 99-99.9%.

I hope it's a false positive or else we're going to have a loud minority saying "SEE?? WHY SHOULD I GET THIS POISON IF I CAN STILL GET IT??"
