My vote is going to DFS too.  What a difference he makes on our defense.

If we get on Luka for his three point shot percentages and we pick this award for the player that rises above to help the team win, well 8 of 9 three point shots is certainly rising above imo.

Should have been Luka, but he missed a 3. That's inexcusable.

Votes goes to Hinton and Green, improved their stats from the last 10 games.

Look at what DFS did to Portland's percentages.

DFS was so dominate that Carlisle played our rookies.

Wait, where is Powell on the list.

4 of 4 FG
1 of 1 3
2 of 2 FT

I might have gone with Luka if he'd have hit that last three.  But, you can't argue with perfection.

The best part was Portland's announcers, who were bored with the game and shilling plastic tumblers, were looking for anything to talk about and after Powell hit his three, questioned why he wasn't putting up more attempts this season.  "He has really nice form".

This was as close to a perfect game as you can find. Richardson has really stepped up offensively in recent weeks. DFS having COVID; being apart from his pregnant wife; it could certainly mess with my head at work. Maybe sometimes there are simply explanations for slumps we don´t see.

Ultimately we still have the same 2-3 problem areas.

We need a 2nd playmaker/creator. We need to consolidate that backup (PF)/C situation and we probably need another shooter.

There is nothing wrong with Luka, THJ, Richardson, Porzingis, DFS, Brunson, Kleber as core pieces. It´s just not enough in today´s NBA.

This is clearly the moment, where years of piss-poor asset management comes back to bite us in the a**, because we´ll only have one shot at this....with a cheap gun.

Ah man...great team win.  Some very good individual performances.  I almost want to give the Dirkie to DFS--but Luka gets my Dirkie.  He is the one who took the heart out of the Trailblazers game.
