Bingo. Butler killed LA in game 3 by getting certain guys switched onto him and shredding them. The Laker adjustment in this game was to keep someone with size on him (often Davis) and have them go under on every screen to avoid switching.
To win this game, he simply had to be willing to shoot from the outside, but he wasn’t, which is probably why we saw so much Tyler Herro ball in the 2nd half. Butler took that one long shot with like 2:40 left that would’ve given them the lead (exact same situation) but it was a miss, and then KCP he a three on the other end. Ball game, basically.
