The real question here is - can they get someone better than Bogi in free agency? They are not really a dream come true free agent destination. Wouldn't it make more sense to just extend Bogi and try to get anything that fits better than Dedmon? I tend to say answer to those questions would be yes. I would give up Bogi, if I receive picks or good young players. Their roster is well rounded, the problem is just that the players are not really that good. They have plenty of back-up point guards, so Wright is not really interesting for them, unless the deal includes Jospeh horrible contract. I guess someone like Philadelphia might make more appealing offer for Sacramento: Smith+Bolden and a first round pick. They can raise the offer with Thybulle. Dallas offer perhaps: Lee+DFS+GSW2nd for Bogi+Dedmon. I don't think we can win this one - lower ceiling guy, worse pick. They are not taking JJ back and Brunson is just another back up point guard for them - not many minutes available behind Fox.I think the key here is to get them a backup that is similar to Bog but more suited to the bench role. Lee + Curry for Bog + Dedmon is the right value IMO. That moves THJ or DFS to the bench.

Bog is 27 yo, so the move from 27 to 29 isn't so big, plus Curry is on the right contract for his production.
