1.) Can the Suns keep this going for the rest of the season or will they slow down? Do they have more talent than the Mavs?
2.) Is Brandon Ingram finally figuring it out?
3.) The clippers come to town on Tuesday. Carlisle usually has good games against Doc, for whatever reason. We played them very well in the preason, tho without Kawhi/PG13. How do we match up against them?
- I think they slow down, but not so much that they aren't in the hunt for that 7-8 playoff spot.
- Probably. New team, new coach, fresh start with what will probably be their #1 going forward being out, his numbers will probably dip when Zion gets back, but he'll be a good #2 guy there.
- I'm afraid not well. PG3 and Kawhi can switch duty on Luka and go all out when they do. If they can contain him even a little bit, we're pretty much cooked cause their bench isn't anything to scoff at (remembering the Den game where we got the team win).
Pretty good assessment. Suns have lost 3 in a row, injuries are mounting with Rubio, Baynes and Ayton's suspension, and Booker got a knee contusion last night. Ingram will be the Pels 1st option IMO, he's a better scorer than Zion. And the Clippers played a rag-tag game in a win vs the C's, but that was the 1st game with PG and KL. I expect them to wreck havoc on the perimeter, when they get continuity playing together. If they can slow Luka down, even a little, I think they win, because of their better and deeper bench.
