I think the coaches changed the scheme after his return. Mavs played a switch heavy/ hard hedge pick and roll defense early in the season. They switched to a deep drop defense after KPs return.

Green is probably the only bright spot for me this season besides Luka, Brunson, and WCS (before KP). He should be playing 20+ minutes per night but you know, Rick Carlisle.
