So....

1) A 34 year old who will likely play half the regular season games and when he does play will be under 30 mins a game, and you just hope he is healthy for the playoffs....

Conley has been near bullet proof his entire NBA career. Not saying old age isn't a serious factor and he could be plagued with injuries, but I don't see why he'd suddenly become an incredibly injury prone player missing 50% of games when that's happened only once in 14 years. He doesn't play the game in a way that makes him susceptible to injuries. 

2) A 26 year old journeyman who hasn't stuck anywhere and will have been on his 4th team since 2019 and has consistently been a net negative for his teams and shoots a career 43% FG and 32% 3P....

I'm not in love with Oubre, but at 9mil he's not a bad get. He's good for 14-19ppg every night. We need that kind of wing scoring and creation. He can find his own shot. Something that DFS (he's shown some flashes) and Kleber just simply cannot do. On paper fills a serious need. Now in practice it hasn't really been shown he can be apart of a serious winning team. 

3) A 26 year old oft-injured big man who lost his ability to play effective D and in the playoffs was so ineffective offensively that he stood in the corner as a "decoy"....


If this is the off season....I will probably have to eat crow and admit that Cuban is indeed a lost cause and won't listen to reason.


P.S. Just the idea of trading the team's most important floor spacer (THJ) for a guy who shoots 32% from three and STILL cannot play good team D is just infuriating beyond reason.

I will not get off KP island until he's traded. I think the dude is going to show up next year as a guy who wants to rebrand his image. The one thing KP hates the most is bad press.
